Walgett Showground Camping

Walgett Shire Council would like to advise that the Walgett Showground Camping Area is NOW Closed until Monday 13th June due to works being carried out on-site. The remaining area of the Showground will also close from Saturday 28th May 2022 until Monday 13th June 2022 due to works including tree removal, road reforming and a surface upgrade of the camping grounds all of which Council hope will greatly improve users experience of the Showground as a whole. Council apologises for any inconvenience and encourages travelers to make use of our Free Camp at Alex Trevallion Park or private operators; Muddy Waters Walgett:

Walgett Showground Camping area is a great spot for overnight or longer, with water and power, hot showers and toilets.
Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times.
Our on-site Caretaker and Booking Officer ensures a safe and hassle-free environment.

Organisation (10+ sites):- $145.00
Individual powered site (Walgett Showground only) :- $26.00
